The Business Coordinator is a non-exempt, full-time staff position which assists management within the Musco Center for the Arts.

The Business Coordinator is a member of the Musco Center’s Operations and Administrative team reporting to the Senior Director. This position supports the administrative finance operations of the Center, including but not limited to the following: complete financial event settlements, act as the primary administrator of the Center’s venue and event management software – Artifax, process invoices, identify and resolve discrepancies, monitor encumbrances and expenditures, line transfers, reconcile accounts, code corrections, and generate periodic reports to assist with budget analysis, tracking and projections. The incumbent assists the Executive Director and the Senior Director to coordinate financial processes, improve accountability, control expenses, and monitor financial activity. The position reviews purchase orders, expense reimbursements, purchase card reconciliation reports, payments, and financial transactions in a thorough and timely manner ensuring adherence to fiscal policy. The coordinator provides assistance to Center senior management and staff in the appropriate management of accounts, budget tracking and planning, as well as day-to-day Center operational accounting and staff support.

The position performs projects and other duties as assigned.
