Saturday, May 2, 2020 | 7:30 p.m.
The peerless Juilliard String Quartet returns to Musco Center for a second consecutive year, offering a public performance as well as a master class for Chapman student string musicians. Since its founding in 1946, the mighty JSQ has conquered the planet with performances charged with passionate energy and elegance. “The most important American quartet in history” (The Boston Globe) showcases an inimitable ensemble sensibility, playing “magically, like a single four-voiced instrument” (Broad Street Review).
