Join this fascinating conversation with talented theatrical designers engaged by Chapman’s College of Performing Arts to create large-scale environments for student productions on the Musco stage. Each designer has a specific element to oversee, but all must collaborate to make each show feel cohesive and immersive to an audience. Learn more about this process as these designers discuss their work for CoPA’s recent production of the musical 9 to
5, and for one of Chapman’s biggest events of the year, Chapman Celebrates, a vibrant panoply of Chapman student talent and achievement. Director Matt McCray will lead this lively discussion with set designer Kristin Campbell, costume designer Carin Jacobs, and sound designer Cricket Myers.
