Just moments away from the heart of Old Towne Orange, Musco Center for the Arts stands as a cultural gem, providing our region access to world-class artists and unforgettable productions through our Musco Center Presents series. Empowered by our location on the Chapman University campus, we embrace our distinct role in fostering thought-provoking engagement with the artists we present and exploring the arts in their wider cultural and historical contexts.

In addition to our Musco Center Presents series, Musco Center for the Arts showcases productions by Chapman University’s College of Performing Arts. We’re proud to offer students the opportunity to perform, learn, and be inspired in a venue of the highest caliber—where they can take the stage themselves, experience performances by renowned artists, and engage directly with leaders in their craft.

Musco Center boasts a full-scale stagehouse capable of grand spectacle or lush symphonic sound with its unique orchestral shell in place. While Musco Center can accommodate 1,044 guests, no audience member is more than 78 feet from the stage, allowing for an intimate and immersive experience. From electrifying dance productions to symphonies, opera, and theatrical performances, we create exceptional opportunities for our community to experience the finest performing arts from around the world.

Musco Center for the Arts was designed by renowned architects Pfeiffer Partners and features world-class acoustics by renowned acoustician Yasuisha Toyota of Nagata Acoustics. Other notable works from Yasuhisa Toyota include Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Danish Radio Concert Hall, Helsinki Music Centre, Mariinsky Concert Hall and Opera House, Elbphilharmonie, Taichung Metropolitan Opera House and Philharmonie de Paris.
