An Arts & Learning Conservatory Production | In Collaboration with Chapman University’s College of Performing Arts and the First-Generation & Promising Futures Programs
Join us for an extraordinary event, chronicling the lives of African American artistic masters across choral, dance, band, and theater genres. Produced by Debora Wondercheck, CEO of the Arts & Learning Conservatory, Gospel Voices of OC, now in its fourth annual year, commemorates June 19, 1865 to present day. Gospel Voices of OC is filled with soul-stirring music, incredible voices, dance and a celebration of unity and hope. This year, experience a rich blend of music from classical to jazz, spirituals to gospel, a heartfelt tribute to Nina Simone, Sorjouner Truth, Duke Ellington, and so much more.
Come and be inspired by a Juneteenth Celebration of freedom and excellence, perfect for people of all ages.
This groundbreaking performance continues Arts & Learning Conservatory’s mission to champion for children, culturally responsive programming and educational access in the arts- a portion of the proceeds from the concert go directly to their youth programs. (artsandlearning.org)
