Fish Interfaith Center Presents Chapman University’s Baccalaureate Interfaith Service

A new kind of baccalaureate service, featuring one of American Idol’s most beloved stars, David Archuleta, plus superstar interfaith speaker Valarie Kaur.

Leading into Chapman University’s Commencement weekend, the Baccalaureate service will take place for the first time in the new Musco Center. It’s not your traditional baccalaureate service: it features inspirational messages for all graduates, whether secular, spiritual or religious. And it’s open to all: graduates, their families, and the public. Acclaimed singer David Archuleta—American Idol’s 7th-season runner-up—will perform and also offer thoughts on his faith journey as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Speaker Valarie Kaur, a member of the Sikh community, is a standout figure in the interfaith world, and frequent TV commentator.
